GHOST-X v1.0.0

GHOST-X v1.0.0 is the first complete software-and-guided-hardware portfolio release of the Raspberry Pi / ROS 2 target-estimation and assurance platform.

Included

  • Formal IMM and GHOST-MH tracking with versioned data contracts.
  • Deterministic synthetic controlled-truth replay and regression gates.
  • Eigen-based C++ estimator library with Python equivalence evidence.
  • Consistency analysis, estimator trade studies, fixed-lag smoothing ablation, fault injection, ROS 2 QoS, and Raspberry Pi runtime evidence.
  • Single-command browser-guided physical-validation launcher with live camera preview and spoken cues.
  • Guided AprilTag hardware evidence for left/right/closer/farther relative response.
  • Reacquisition after a measured 2.451-second tag occlusion without a tracker reset.
  • Machine-readable release manifest, traceability, approved-claims register, failure gallery, and reproducible archive.

Verification

  • Pull request #48 merged into main.
  • GHOST-X deterministic regression passed on the tagged main commit.
  • GHOST CI passed.
  • GitHub Pages deployment passed.
  • Final local release regression: 44 tests passed.
  • Requirements traceability: 34/34.

Reproducible archive

  • Asset: ghost-x-v1.0.0.tar.gz
  • SHA-256: e919b04e1fb2b9f696b09a580a49171e71e7e3ac06006af09db08361f2eb63e6

Claim boundary

This release validates the declared software scope and guided tabletop Raspberry Pi hardware behavior. It does not establish metrology-grade absolute position or velocity accuracy, a statistically powered universal GHOST-MH superiority claim, hard-real-time guarantees, VIO/SLAM, PX4 integration, safety certification, or autonomous flight qualification.
