Download the signed APK from the latest GitHub release. Android may ask you to allow the browser or file manager to install unknown apps. Updates installed from later releases retain app data when they are signed with the same release key.

The bundled catalogue is a curated, fixed upstream revision. If you need newer upstream data, Settings can pin the app to a specific database commit; that catalogue is saved locally and keeps its associated material requests reproducible.
Material data is sourced from the refractiveindex.info database, which is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0. This is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by refractiveindex.info or M. N. Polyanskiy.
