What's new
- 🐦 🪰 🐞 🦎 ✨ Five new critters: a blue bird, a fly (with a buzz), a golden ladybug, a lizard and a firefly — in blues and yellow-greens, the colours cats see best.
- Prey now peeks in at the screen edge, freezes and then springs out (search → stalk → pounce).
- 📦 🪴 Hiding places: a cardboard box and a flower pot. Critters run under them and spring out; the box twitches while someone is inside, and a tap on it makes the critter jump out.
- "Variety" mode (on by default): three kinds of critters at a time, the set changes every minute or two so the cat does not get bored.
- ⏱ Optional play timer (off by default — the hunt lasts as long as the cat wants): 5 / 10 / 15 minutes. When time is up the prey slows down, one last critter stops for a final catch, then the screen fades out and is allowed to sleep. Hold ⚙ to play again.
- The string is now blue and yellow (easier for cats to see).
- Redesigned settings panel (shared android-ui-kit): choice chips instead of sliders; a tap outside the panel closes it and applies the changes.
Android 8.0 or newer. GPL-3.0-or-later. The F-Droid build is signed with F-Droid's own key, so do not install it over this APK (and vice versa).
