What’s new

• Finder drag and drop. Fixes Altillo’s transparent panel intercepting file drags intended for windows underneath it, including drag-to-install layouts in DMGs. A drag away from the notch now passes through to Finder, and leaving the visible drop target restores the destination underneath even while the notch remains expanded.
• Shelf drops still work. The notch receives the drag when it reaches the visible target, including when the target expands under a stationary pointer.

installations can use Altillo → Check for Updates…. Altillo is signed with

If an older Altillo version prevents dragging the update to Applications, quit

What’s new

• Settings with room to breathe. A persistent sidebar separates app-wide settings from the options for each section. General covers opening, displays, haptics and automatic glances; Appearance brings together width, side indicators and starting layouts.
• One page per section. Shelf, Ask, Calendar, Usage, Clipboard and Agents each have their own settings page. Section visibility and ordering stay together, with direct links to configuration. Disabled sections remain configurable, including removing installed agent hooks.
• A more flexible window. Settings can be resized, with independent scrolling and the existing keyboard shortcuts. Contextual settings links open the matching page, and all new text is available in Spanish.

What’s new

• Your latest file, one less click away. After adding something to the shelf, the next general opening of Altillo takes you straight to Files. Dropped files also show up on that section as soon as they arrive.
• Open where the activity is. With an empty shelf, Altillo opens the section shown by an active indicator beside the notch. When both sides have content, it follows the existing activity priority; without a clear priority, it keeps your last section. Clicking an indicator or using a section's shortcut still opens exactly what you chose.

What’s new

• Usage reads on one line. On a narrower notch the refill time ("refills in 1 h 11 min") and each provider's second limit no longer break over two lines. When there's no room, the second limit drops its refill time, which stays in the tooltip.
• A Usage panel the size of your providers. The panel grows with the providers you have instead of always opening to its tallest, so one or two providers no longer leave empty wood below them. Longer lists still scroll.

What’s new

• Every Drawer icon opens from its button. Menus and panels open right under the icon you clicked, with the notch still open. Panels that would draw under the notch open just below it.
• No more dead clicks. A click is never dropped while another icon is opening, a panel that won't close no longer blocks the rest, and clicking another Drawer icon while a menu is open switches to it, like the menu bar.
• Clear answers instead of silence. If macOS keeps an app's icon out of the menu bar, the Drawer says so. Apps that restart are picked up again before their icon opens.
• Ears that fit what they say. The resting notch's ears grow to their content, say what's going on in words, and an empty ear shows what matters next.

• Choose how Drawer icons look. Settings › Drawer › Drawer icons shows them as they look in the menu bar or as each app's own icon, so the Drawer no longer mixes both styles.
• Missing menu bar icons fill in. Icons that were hidden before Altillo could read them are shown for a moment once, so the Drawer can show them as they look in the menu bar.
• Menus open from the Drawer. Apps with their own panel now open it right under the Drawer button you clicked, with the notch still open, instead of closing Altillo first.

What’s new

• Thirty-day AI usage trends. Each provider now includes a compact local
  history so you can see whether usage is rising or falling. Altillo keeps one
  hourly percentage sample for 30 days and never stores credentials in it.
• Pomodoro inside Timer. Choose 25/5, 50/10 or 90/20 cycles, pause or skip
  phases, and see today’s focused time. The cycle survives relaunches and uses
  the same alerts and optional sound as the existing timers.
• Reminders in the notch. Add the opt-in Reminders section to see today’s
  and upcoming items, mark them complete or open the Reminders app. Permission
  is requested only when you explicitly grant it.
• Lyrics in Now Playing. Load plain or time-synced lyrics on demand and tap
  a line to seek. Nothing is sent until you press Load Lyrics; that request
  sends only the track metadata to LRCLIB, never audio or your library.
• A width for every display. Altillo remembers a separate open width for
  each connected screen, with one click to return a screen to the default.
• Correct source versioning. Development builds now show 0.10.0 instead of
  the stale 0.1.0 value, and the release script refuses to publish when the
  source and requested versions disagree.

What’s new

• Real menu bar icons in the Drawer. Allow Screen Recording (optional, in
  Settings → Drawer or during setup) and the Drawer shows each icon exactly
  as it looks in your menu bar, even while it's hidden. Altillo only captures
  the menu bar. Without it, the Drawer keeps showing each app's icon.
• Every hidden icon opens its own menu. When an app doesn't offer a
  standard menu, Altillo shows its icon in the menu bar for a moment and clicks
  it, so the app opens its menu or panel exactly as it does from the menu bar.
  When you close it, the icon hides again. This fixes icons that did nothing,
  or opened the app's window instead of its menu.

  opens it through Accessibility, as before.
