Bridge-4 Phase 2 — Wails Desktop App

A self-contained 12.8 MB Windows desktop client. No Electron, no Node runtime at install time — just WebView2 (built into Windows 11) + the Go binary.

What's included

  • Native window via Wails v2 + WebView2 (zero extra install required on Windows 11)
  • Server controls — pick folder, set port, optional HMAC auth token, start/stop
  • Live peer discovery — mDNS-discovered nodes appear automatically; click to browse their files
  • Dual file browser — local filesystem + remote WebDAV PROPFIND browser with breadcrumb nav
  • Native folder picker dialog via Wails runtime
  • Push events — Go emits peers:updated / server:stopped to the JS layer instantly

Download & run

Download Bridge-4-windows-amd64.exe below and run it directly — no installer needed.

Requires: Windows 10 (1803+) or Windows 11 with WebView2 runtime (pre-installed on Win11).
