A few quick notes to ensure a smooth setup and full transparency. 🔐

Why Play Protect May Flag It

  • The app requests Accessibility Service permission to enable screen lock—a function third‑party apps can’t perform otherwise on Android.
  • Because of this, Google Play Protect may temporarily flag the install. If that happens, briefly disable Play Protect during installation, then re‑enable it afterward.

What The Accessibility Service Does

  • Used solely to lock the screen.
  • No unnecessary actions, tracking, or background activities.

Open Source & Trust

  • Don’t trust—verify. If there are any doubts, feel free to review the source code and build the app locally.
  • This project exists so data stays safe and behavior stays transparent. Closed-source alternatives can’t offer the same assurance.

How to Set Up

  1. Install the app (temporarily disable Play Protect if it blocks installation).
  2. Open Settings → Accessibility → enable Accessibility for “Pixel Features.”
  3. Done! The lock screen functionality will work immediately.
