Preview release focused on privacy, production reliability, and provider-reported usage observability.

  • Adds Incognito mode for ephemeral chats with explicit save-or-discard transitions.
  • Adds per-request, generation, and conversation token usage, reasoning, cache-hit/cache-miss, and official DeepSeek V4 cost estimates.
  • Keeps missing provider usage explicitly unavailable and avoids guessed pricing for custom endpoints.
  • Adds configurable usage warnings and redacted diagnostics without persisting prompts, commands, paths, or response content.
  • Hardens tool calls, unsaved buffers, storage concurrency, partial streams, process shutdown, webview protocol negotiation, and provider validation.
  • Adds cross-platform production gates, dependency audits, deterministic VSIX checks, Extension Host coverage, and installed-package smoke tests.

Validation: Production gates passed on Linux, Windows, and macOS with VS Code 1.125.0 and stable. The pre-release VSIX contains 16 intentional entries.
