AfterFrame 0.3.2 — RAW

RAW files are now first-class citizens, plus a new filter by file format.

✨ New

RAW import

  • Browse RAW like any photo — import a folder of RAW (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Hasselblad, Phase One, and more) and they show in the gallery, decoded by macOS.
  • Full-resolution previews — because a RAW can't be displayed directly, AfterFrame renders a full native-resolution preview on import, so you can zoom in and check focus/detail. (Correct sensor dimensions, e.g. Hasselblad 100MP, not the embedded thumbnail.)
  • Edit & AI-Repaint RAW — the editor and AI Repaint work on the full-res preview; results save next to the original file.
  • Two clear paths — files brought in via Import are normal photos; Add RAW source keeps the reverse-lookup (RAW↔JPEG matching) workflow.

Filter by file format

  • New Format filter (jpg / png / mp4 / cr2 / 3fr / …) in the filter bar.

🐛 Fixes

  • RAW (and any asset type) can now be deleted from the catalog.

macOS only (Apple Silicon). Signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple — opens without Gatekeeper warnings.
