AfterFrame 0.4.4 puts your library on a map — fully offline.

Highlights

Geo view

  • Collapsible map drawer plots every photo with a location: EXIF GPS (RAW-first for paired shots) and AI-inferred places resolved against a bundled Wikidata gazetteer — no tokens, no tile services, photos and place names never leave your machine
  • The map viewport doubles as a gallery filter; World / Region / City level switcher; photo-stack cluster markers
  • Click any location in the Inspector (GPS or AI-guessed country/state/city/landmark) to expand the map and fly there
  • Wrong AI location? Give the AI a one-line hint and re-analyze, or clear it with one click
  • Location resolution is anchored to the annotation's own state/city — once it says California, the pin can never land in Texas (natural landmarks like El Capitan, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon now resolve exactly)
  • New filter: photos with / without AI annotation

Annotation

  • Configurable concurrent API requests (Settings → AI, default 3) — a full-library run finishes hours faster
  • Large panoramas (>89 MP) no longer trip the image-size guard

People

  • No face model installed? The People page now offers a one-click "download model & scan" instead of erroring

Under the hood

  • Electron 35 → 43: clears all runtime security advisories; API keys survive the keychain re-authorization gracefully
  • CI is now green end to end (lint, unit, build, audit, e2e)
