Pre-release v4.10.7-pre2

This pre-release includes bug fixes for ECS service updates and error logging.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix service update failure when capacity provider strategy is empty: Service updates were failing with "No launch type to fall back to for empty capacity provider strategy". Fixed by setting empty capacity provider strategies to nil, allowing AWS to use the service's original launch type.
  • Fix error logging in tasks.go: Changed ARN parsing error logging from log.Errorf to log.Debugf to prevent test failures
  • Update outdated test expectations: Fixed Test_defaultTaskExecutionPolicy test to match current function behavior (7 ECR/logging actions instead of 4)

Changes

  • Updated processServiceUpdate in orchestration/service.go to handle empty capacity provider strategies
  • Adjusted logging levels for non-critical errors
