✨ Added - Automatic Context Detection

Major Enhancement: Run /ship, /debugging, and /hotfix directly from worktree directories - no more orchestration from Main required!

Problem Solved

Previously (v0.4.3), developers with dedicated Cursor windows on worktrees had to constantly switch back to Main for orchestration:

~/watchora$ /ship "Fix" --worktree           # From Main
~/watchora$ cd worktrees/hotfix/             # Switch to worktree
~/watchora/worktrees/hotfix$ # Code...       # Work
~/watchora/worktrees/hotfix$ cd ~/watchora   # Switch back
~/watchora$ /ship --complete                 # From Main again

Now (v0.4.4), everything works seamlessly from the worktree:

~/watchora/worktrees/hotfix$ /ship "Fix"     # Auto-detects worktree!

New Infrastructure

  • Context Detection Script: .claude/scripts/context-detection.sh
    • Automatically detects if running from Main or worktree
    • Supports worktrees/hotfix/ and worktrees/debug/
    • Handles Windows and Unix paths

Enhanced Commands

  • /ship - Auto-detects worktree context

    • From Main: Default behavior unchanged
    • From worktrees/hotfix/: Automatically uses worktree mode (no --worktree flag needed)
    • All operations stay in current directory

  • /debugging - Auto-detects worktree context

    • From Main: Default behavior unchanged
    • From worktrees/debug/: Automatically uses worktree mode (no --worktree flag needed)
    • Session management works from current directory

  • /hotfix - Works seamlessly from anywhere

    • Can now be called from Main OR from worktrees/hotfix/ directly
    • Same isolation guarantees, simpler workflow
