Nestform 0.4.0

Nestform 0.4.0 is the first client-ready Windows release maintained by Kirsten Trimaley, trading as Yaze Media. It combines the preserved Deepnest nesting engine with the Workshop Dark interface, Auto Nest, multiple sheets and offcuts, millimetre-based workflows, local History backups, guided onboarding, and expanded appearance controls.

Install

Use Nestform-Setup-0.4.0.exe for the normal Windows installation. Nestform-0.4.0-Windows.exe is the portable build. Verify either download with SHA256SUMS.txt.

These executables are not Authenticode signed, so Windows may display an Unknown publisher or Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning.

Licence and source

Nestform is a GPL-3.0-only fork of Deepnest by Jack Qiao. The release includes Nestform-0.4.0-Source.zip, the matching complete source bundle and build input for the distributed binaries. Copyright and third-party ownership remain identified in the included notices.

The Nestform name is provisional and is not represented as a registered trade mark.

Validation limits

The release tests native parity, SVG import and export, Auto Nest defaults, multiple stock pieces, History, and measured millimetre spacing on reference fixtures. Conversion-dependent CDR and DXF compatibility and every possible production drawing have not been universally qualified. Inspect output dimensions and run a safe material test before production.
