^^ That design document also shows all the recipes.

You can also get the recipes with JEI (just enough items mod).

It is highly recommended to use JEI for this, else the recipes get quite confusing and you can get lost.

Alchemy Table

Used for making blood samples, extracts, amplifiers, and catalysts.

Powered by a combustible material (ie. coal, charcoal, wood, sticks...)

Put the fuel in the top left corner, put the ingredient in the top slot, and put either a vial or a petri dish in the bottom slot.

Minced human flesh can get you either a blood sample or an unidentified human extract. Put an empty vial in the bottom slot to get a blood sample, and put an empty petri dish in the bottom slot to get an unidentified human extract.

Rotten flesh can get you either a rotten blood sample or an unidentified rotten extract. Put an empty vial in the bottom slot to get a rotten blood sample, and put an empty petri dish in the bottom slot to get an unidentified rotten extract.

Unidentified extracts can be identified using the microscope.

Microscope

The Microscope can be used to identify unidentified ingredients. The Microscope requires an Amethyst Lens, which has durability that gets expended on every microscope use. The Microscope identifies an item, introducing some randomness.

Unidentified Human Extract Possible yields:

  • Adrenal Gland
  • Muscle Fibre
  • Bone Marrow
  • Neural Tissue

**Unidentified Rotten Extract ** Possible yields:

  • Putrid Extract
  • Disease Culture
  • Necrotic Tissue

Base Vials

These vials form the basic building blocks of demon alchemy.

Blood Sample Recipe: Minced Human Flesh + Empty Vial in an Alchemy Table

Rotten Blood Sample Can be used instead of a blood sample, but with a chance of failure Recipe: Rotten Flesh;+ Empty Vial in an Alchemy Table

Crude Vial Recipe: Hemolith Dust + Blood Sample in a Brewing Stand

Refined Vial Used for making amplifiers Recipe: Fermented Orchid + Crude Vial in a Brewing Stand

Cruel Vial Used for making blood demon art catalysts Recipe: Immortal Daisy + Crude Vial in a Brewing Stand

Familiar Tonic Used for making elixirs to summon familiars Recipe: Herbal Culture + Crude Vial in a Brewing Stand

Catalytic Reagent Used for making Catalysts from extracts in the brewing stand instead of the alchemy table, allowing you to make 3 catalysts from 1 extract instead of just 1 Recipe: Hemomimetic Culture + Cruel Vial in a Brewing Stand

Extracts

Extracts are crafted from putting an ingredient into the Alchemy Table with an empty vial, they are used as ingredients for catalysts and infusions Combine the extract with a crude vial to make a potion effect infusion Combine the extract with a cruel vial to make a blood demon art catalyst Combine the extract with a Catalytic Reagent in a Brewing Stand to make 3 blood demon art catalysts

For example, you can make wither extract with a wither skull, stellar extract with a nether star, immortal extract with a totem of undying, blaze extract with a blaze rod, phantom extract with a phantom membrane, azure extract with an azure bluet, guardian extract with a prismarine shard... see a full list here.

Petri Dish Cultures

Cultures are used as ingredients, they are created in a crafting table.

Amplifier Vials

Amplifiers can be used directly in the Blood Demon Art crafter to upgrade potion effects and blood demon art forms. Amplifiers are created in an Alchemy Table by placing a culture in the top slot and a refined vial in the bottom slot.

Damage Amplifier +10% damage for a BDA form Recipe: Infernal Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Defense Amplifiers +10% damage resistance for a BDA form Recipe: Fortified Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Range Amplifier +10% range for a BDA form Recipe: Neural Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Speed Amplifier +10% movement speed for a BDA form Recipe: Viral Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Harmful Effect Amplifier +1 amplifier level for a harmful potion effect Recipe: Necrotic Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Beneficial Effect Amplifier +1 amplifier level for a beneficial potion effect Recipe: Vitality Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Effect Duration Amplifier +10% duration for a potion effect duration Recipe: Electrolytic Culture + Refined Vial in an Alchemy Table

Potion Effect Infusions

Potion effect Infusions can be used to put a potion effect into a primary or secondary potion effect slot in the blood demon art builder (you can also do this with potion bottles) Use potion effect infusions for the uncraftable potion effects (such as blindness and wither)

Blood Demon Art Catalysts

Blood Demon Art Catalysts can be used to unlock new moves for your blood demon art forms. Catalysts are made with an extract and a Cruel Vial Catalysts can be combined with extracts or catalysts to make new catalysts In the recipes for making catalysts, the catalyst in the top slot (ingredient slot) can be either a catalyst or an extract, just the bottom slot needs to be either a catalyst or a cruel vial. In the ingredient slot, catalysts and extracts of the same type (ie. Wither Catalyst vs Wither Extract) are interchangeable. When making catalysts from other catalysts, the ingredients can be placed in either order (for example Vex Catalyst can be made with Illager’s Extract and Azure Catalyst, or Azure Extract and Illager’s Catalyst, or Azure Catalyst and Illager’s Catalyst). To make 3 catalysts from 1 extract, put the extract and 3 Catalytic Reagents in a Brewing Stand
