yay i finished.

!!!! MAJOR CHANGES !!!!

Interactions CAN NO longer be exported from a a file, they have to be in the interactions parameter of a slash command.

Commands CAN NO longer be exported as a normal object, they have to be an instance of SlashCommandManager or at least have an instance in the exported object.

Updates

Documentation

Sections have been reorganized to

  • Classes
  • Interfaces and types

Github Documentation now up to date 👍🏿

Documentation is now written as if it were in typescript, so you know what to expect and how to use it.

Timeouts.

Interaction timeouts for select menus and buttons are now way better than before! Exact same syntax except under the hood it works as an actual timeout, meaning now the onTimeout function in the InteractionBuilder, returns the primary interaction which was returned by the slash command. (To put it simply, in your onTimeout function for your buttons and selectMenus, change interaction.update to interaction.editReply)

SlashCommandManager

isDev()

Boolean to set the dev tag of a command.

Code Base

All Interfaces have been moved to one singular file.

Additions

Interfaces

For the TS Lovers, I've now exported the interfaces used in certain handlers. Have fun

This incudes a new interface called:

HandlerFlags and InteractionHandlerFlags

NOTE: any instance of loaderOptions is now runFlags. (Also a new interface)

HandlerFlags are flags you can set in the InteractionHandler and CommandHandler which can improve your experience!
Check out the documentation for the properties.

Debugging

Debugging (Enabled via HandlerFlags) can be enabled! You can either log to console or save all logs to a file. I havent of course addign logging for absolutely everything.

Dev VS Prod versions

(Once again enabled via HandlerFlags) you can set whether on prod or dev version of the bot. Only differtence is that if the bot is set to dev, then commands marked "isDev" will be skipped when loading. You may have to enable another flag refreshApplicationComands to delete the dev commands.

if there's a bug... tough luck
