QuotaPulse v0.2.0 Beta 1

QuotaPulse v0.2.0 Beta 1 is the first publicly downloadable beta release of QuotaPulse. It introduces the v0.2 presentation model, completes the hybrid AppKit menu bar migration, reorganizes settings, and lays the groundwork for Reset Intelligence.

Earlier releases were source-only.

Menu bar architecture

QuotaPulse now uses a hybrid menu bar architecture with an AppKit-managed status item shell while retaining SwiftUI for the application interface.

This migration improves lifecycle control and provides a more reliable foundation for menu bar visibility and recovery behavior.

Usage presentation

QuotaPulse now supports configurable quota presentation so usage can be displayed using clearer used or remaining semantics across the app.

The Dashboard, menu bar, and related presentation surfaces share the same normalized usage model.

Settings and onboarding

Settings have been reorganized by category to make provider, presentation, notification, and application preferences easier to navigate.

The v0.2 release also introduces the contracts needed for the updated presentation and onboarding experience.

Reset Intelligence foundation

The initial contracts and governance rules for Reset Intelligence have been defined.

The external Reset Intelligence feed itself is not yet part of this beta release.

Distribution

QuotaPulse v0.2.0 Beta 1 is the first release distributed as a downloadable DMG.

The current beta is not signed or notarized with an Apple Developer ID. macOS may therefore require additional approval on first launch.

Only download QuotaPulse from the official GitHub repository or QuotaPulse website. Do not disable Gatekeeper or other system-wide macOS security protections.

Known limitations

• macOS 14 or later is required.
• Apple silicon is validated; Intel Macs have not been validated.
• Codex integration relies on ChatGPT.app bundled runtime behavior that may change.
• Claude Code remains Experimental / Unverified.
• Developer ID signing and Apple notarization are not yet available.
• Automatic updates are not yet available.
• Reset Intelligence external feed integration is not yet available.
• Production branding refinement and final product screenshots remain in progress.

QuotaPulse v0.2.0 Beta 1 是 QuotaPulse 第一個提供公開下載的 Beta 版本。此版本導入 v0.2 使用量呈現模型、完成混合式 AppKit 選單列架構遷移、重新整理設定介面，並建立 Reset Intelligence 的基礎架構。

先前版本皆僅提供原始碼。

重點功能

• 首次提供可公開下載的 QuotaPulse macOS Beta 版本。

選單列架構

QuotaPulse 現在採用混合式選單列架構，由 AppKit 管理選單列狀態項目的外殼，同時保留 SwiftUI 作為主要應用程式介面。

這項遷移改善了生命週期控制，並為選單列顯示與復原行為提供更可靠的基礎。

使用量呈現

QuotaPulse 現在支援可設定的額度呈現方式，可依照偏好以「已使用」或「剩餘」語意顯示使用狀態。

Dashboard、選單列與相關介面會共用相同的標準化使用量模型。

設定與 Onboarding

設定介面已依類別重新整理，讓 Provider、顯示方式、通知與應用程式偏好更容易管理。

v0.2 同時加入新版使用量呈現與 Onboarding 所需的基礎契約。

Reset Intelligence 基礎

目前已定義 Reset Intelligence 的初始契約與 Feed 治理規則。

外部 Reset Intelligence Feed 尚未包含在此次 Beta 版本中。

發行方式

QuotaPulse v0.2.0 Beta 1 是第一個透過 DMG 提供公開下載的版本。

目前的 Beta 尚未使用 Apple Developer ID 完成簽署與公證，因此第一次開啟時 macOS 可能會要求額外核准。

請只從 QuotaPulse 官方 GitHub Repository 或官方網站下載。請勿停用 Gatekeeper 或其他 macOS 全域安全性保護機制。
