This patch keeps delegated messages usable when session ancestry or saved override state cannot be resolved safely.

Fixed

  • Preserve the model selected by OpenCode when parent lookup or state loading fails.
  • Reject corrupt state and invalid variants instead of inheriting another override.
  • Detect cycles in session ancestry.
  • Report TUI state-read failures without unhandled promise rejections.

Verification

  • Tests cover global and session commands, reasoning variants, Default behavior, corrupt state, parent cycles, and persistence failures.
  • CI passes on Node.js 22, 24, and 26 on Linux, plus Node.js 24 on Windows.
  • The npm package contains only the documented source, license, README, changelog, and metadata.
