The first public release of Se7en PinNote 🎉 (includes everything from v1.2.0)

New & changed

  • Interface language follows your system language: 10 languages supported (Simplified/Traditional Chinese, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese), with English as the fallback; starter group names are localized too
  • Fresh installs come with starter groups: Work / Study / Fun (they won't come back if you delete them)
  • Reworked group creation: click + and a full-width input row appears at the top of the list (Enter to create, Esc to cancel), available in every grouping view
  • Safer group deletion: notes inside a deleted group move to the trash and can be restored within 30 days (restored notes land in Uncategorized); the confirmation dialog states how many notes are affected
  • Redesigned voice model list: every model shows 5-step accuracy/speed ratings with hardware-aware recommendations (small for no dedicated GPU, turbo + GPU pack for NVIDIA cards); "Audio input" renamed to "Microphone"
  • Better first-run defaults: launch at startup enabled, 16px editor font, ready-to-use voice/media hotkeys (Ctrl+Shift+D dictation / Ctrl+Shift+A system audio / Ctrl+M play-pause)

Fixes

  • The "square" tile corner setting used to render rounded corners — it's truly square now, and edit mode follows the setting too
  • Default global hotkey changed from Ctrl+Space to Ctrl+Shift+Space, so it no longer steals the Chinese/Japanese IME toggle
  • Hotkey conflict detection no longer reports your own current binding as a conflict; assigning the same combo to two features is now clearly flagged
  • Starting voice input for the first time no longer flashes a black console window
  • Consistent branding: program name, Start menu, registry, and config directory all unified as Se7en PinNote

Install & upgrade notes

  • If you have v1.2.0 or an earlier preview build: uninstall it before installing this version (the app identifier changed, so in-place upgrade isn't possible); uninstalling does not touch your local notes (default location: Documents\Se7en PinNote)
  • Voice-to-text requires downloading a model in Settings first; NVIDIA users can grab the GPU acceleration pack in-app
