TL;DR — Don't link other mods (Nexus, mod.io, GitHub, etc.) in issues or discussions. Describe what you want in your own words and cite the official rules text instead.
This has come up often enough that it's worth stating once, in one place, rather than repeating it in every thread.
The rule
When you open a bug report, a request, or a question, please don't link or point to another mod — not on Nexus, not on mod.io, not on GitHub, not in a screenshot, not as "the mod that does X". Describe the behavior you're after in your own words, and cite the official source (the rulebook, D&D Beyond) if there is one.
Why
These links are always posted in good faith, and I want to be clear that nobody is in trouble for having posted one. But there are three reasons the answer is still no:
1. I deliberately don't read other mods' implementations. This mod is written from the rulebooks. Keeping it that way is a choice about how the project is authored, and it's also what keeps it clean of anyone else's work. If I read another mod's files to solve a problem here, that's no longer true. So a link doesn't help me — it's something I have to avoid opening.
2. "Mod X can do it" isn't evidence it can be done here. Other mods run under different constraints — Script Extender, load order, their own overrides. What's cheap in one setup can be impossible in another. Knowing that some other mod achieves an effect tells me nothing about whether the same thing is reachable in this codebase.
3. The reference for this mod is the rules text. Not another mod's interpretation of it. If two mods read a rule differently, the question I need answered is what the rulebook says — so quote that instead.
What to do instead
One related point
While I'm here: this mod rewrites spell lists and progressions wholesale and is not designed to be compatible with other content mods. Bug reports that only reproduce alongside another content mod will be closed as mod conflicts, and questions about running this alongside another content mod can't be answered. Please confirm the issue still happens with no other content mods enabled before reporting it.
Housekeeping
Posts that link another mod won't be deleted or treated as bad behavior — I'll just ask you to restate the request without the link, and we'll pick up from there. The issue and discussion templates already carry this note; this post is the permanent version of it to point at.
Thanks for reporting things and asking questions. Keep doing it — just in your own words.
