Lynx support: Open browser asynchronous with current tty as stdin/stdout

This release enables the option to login using the minimalistic console browser Lynx, if xdg-open is running it as default browser. Useful on remote machines without X-forwarding or VNC.

Installation using apt and dpkg

Download git-credential-oauth_0.17.2.1-1.1_amd64.deb and run on a Debian or Ubuntu distribution the follow commands:

$> sudo apt-get install xdg-utils lynx
$> sudo dpkg -i git-credential-oauth_0.17.2.1-1.1_amd64.deb

Installation on your own

Download git-credential-oauth (amd64/elf64-x86-64 binary) and run on a your favorite Linux distribution the follow commands:

root$> <your-package-manager> uninstall git-credential-oauth
root$> <your-package-manager> install xdg-utils lynx
root$> install -o root -g root -m 0755 git-credential-oauth /usr/local/bin/

JFYI: Pull request

A pull-request was opened at hickford#97, therefore this non-maintainer release will be hopefully merged into the main-tree soon.
