First public release of the folder delivery preflight tool.

Included

• Whole-tree case/Unicode collisions, Windows naming hazards and conservative path budgets.
• A deterministic original-to-destination plan; originals are never renamed.
• JSON manifests and a byte-preserving ZIP copy for browser-selected files.
• 20 automated tests covering allocation, archive contents, limits and cancellation.

The public sample contains nine paths and five renamed destinations. Pasted paths produce a manifest only; real files are needed for a ZIP.

Run and verify

The source archives below contain the app and engine, not a desktop installer. Use Node.js 22.13+, run npm ci, then npm run dev, or use the hosted tool.

Tests and the Linux build/Pages deployment passed. The public sample and issue form were checked. See testing notes, including the distinction between synthetic file-input checks and the unautomated native folder picker.

Copies do not preserve permissions, timestamps, empty directories or symlinks. Contents and relative references are not rewritten. This is not certification for every filesystem or extraction tool. Report a minimal path example.
