Q1 LOCALNET v0 — Experimental

This is an experimental LOCALNET-only technical release for reproducibility and evaluation.

Q1 is an open-source protocol project initiated by Yousef Bahrami. Yousef Bahrami maintains the project.

Official upstream: YousefBahrami/Q1. This release is designated by that project maintainer. Canonical identity and fork guidance distinguishes independent implementations from official releases without changing Apache-2.0. Public source publication is not a public token offering; see the pre-offer boundary.

• Not for securing real-world value; no public monetary value is implied.
• A complete independent security audit has not been performed.
• The consensus, economics and delay settings are LOCALNET test-profile rules.
• No production readiness, audited security, decentralized Mainnet or investment-asset claim is made.

One fixed producer and three fixed voters demonstrate signed transfers, a one-base-unit fee into an explicit reward pool, conserved supply, canonical full-state commitments, signed proposals/attestations/certificates, two-of-three finalization, atomic persistence, restart and catch-up.

Reproduce

From a clone or extracted source archive with the documented prerequisites:

For interactive local use, follow README.md. The complete check includes the real four-process stop/restart/catch-up acceptance and wallet/CLI integration.

Deferred and limitations

Mainnet consensus/fault model, producer failover/rotation, final economics, production delay, validator admission, public-network hardening, production wallet custody, partial state proofs and independent security audit remain future work. Nodes are loopback-only and archives are bounded. This release does not launch a public-value network.

Post-release documentation review

The current main branch corrects preparation-era publication status and records an evidence-based differentiation audit and a proposed PUBLIC TESTNET v0 plan. This documentation update changes no protocol behavior. The original tag and attached artifacts remain unchanged. Testnet implementation awaits explicit human approval.
