Receipt Studio 1.1.1

The first public release of Receipt Studio: a local-first Windows point-of-sale, receipt designer, and receipt/label printing application. No database server or cloud account is required.

Highlights

  • Create multiple shops with locally stored logos.
  • Manage products, customers, sales, receipt templates, printers, and payment methods.
  • Customer phone number is required; name, email, address, and notes are optional.
  • Build receipt layouts with drag-and-drop document structure and clear selected-section outlines.
  • Generate unique receipt numbers and functional QR codes.
  • Print through installed Windows/USB printers or raw TCP ESC/POS network printers.
  • Configure 58 mm, 80 mm, or custom receipt widths and common encoding presets.
  • Design fixed-size barcode/QR labels using common presets or custom millimeter dimensions.
  • Export PDFs and create/import local backups.

Downloads

  • Setup: recommended installer for Windows 10/11 x64.
  • Portable: run without installing.

Printer notes

Rongta and similar ESC/POS printers can use either an installed Windows driver or raw TCP printing, normally on port 9100. USB mode uses the Windows-installed printer path; direct raw USB VID/PID communication is not required. Physical printer behavior, encoding, cutting, QR/barcode firmware support, and label calibration should be verified on the target hardware.

Privacy

Shop, customer, and sales information remains in the local Electron user-data directory and is not stored in this GitHub repository.

Validation

  • ESLint passed
  • TypeScript checks passed
  • 21 unit tests passed
  • Electron end-to-end launch test passed
  • Production build and Windows packaging passed
