What changed
The Mac setup screen now uses “Tunnel ID” and “API key” consistently in English and Japanese. Connection behavior and saved settings are unchanged.

What changed
- Records when Dot retrieves an utterance so the Even companion can distinguish waiting states.
- Opens System Settings directly when configuring Accessibility permissions.
- Works with the public Even 0.2.28, which improves history restoration, HUD new-message counts, display timing and right-edge text wrapping. Even 0.2.28 retains the same app behavior as 0.2.27.
- Supports optional location sharing, off by default, with Even 0.2.23 or later.
Replies from Dot may still take time; this release does not guarantee a fix for reply delays. Automatic updates remain paused. Use Check for updates in the Mac app.

Adds optional phone location sharing with your existing Dot through your own Mac. Sharing starts off and is controlled in the Even companion app.
Location sharing also requires Even 0.2.23 or later. The currently public Even 0.2.22 does not provide this feature.
Long journeys, battery impact, reconnect behavior, and the frequency and usefulness of announcements remain under evaluation.
Automatic updates remain temporarily disabled. Use Check for updates on the Mac to check manually.

Macの初回準備後、Dot未接続でも更新できるよう修正しました。
- 未作成の常駐サービスを待ち続ける問題を修正。更新時はアプリが自動で終了し、差し替え後に再起動します。
- 接続済みのMacでは、従来どおり会話・クライアントの使用状態を確認してから適用します。一部だけ設定されたサービスや、登録ファイルのない実行中サービスは安全側で停止します。
- 未接続のままアプリを終了・再起動した際、まだ作成していないサービスの再開を試みないよう修正しました。
- 準備済みのキー・設定・モデルは保持します。自動更新は引き続き停止中です。「アップデートを確認」から実行してください。
旧版からの注意: 0.3.0／0.3.1でDot未接続のまま更新待機が続く場合、新しい配布物だけでは旧版の処理を修正できません。Dot Linkを終了し、最新版をダウンロードしてホームフォルダのApplications内のアプリだけを置き換えてください。アンインストールや設定データの削除は不要です。
検証: 単体126件、HTTP統合9件、更新ドライバ4グループ。未接続の実機で更新準備・中断・復旧、準備済み設定の保持を確認しました。接続済みDot・G2の更新後復帰は今回の実機試験に含みません。Apple公証は未実施です。
Fixed updates after initial Mac preparation, before connecting Dot.
- The updater no longer waits for relay services that have never been created. The app quits automatically and relaunches after installation.
- Configured installations still wait until conversations and clients are idle. Partial service setups and running jobs without their registration files block installation safely.
- Relaunching an unconnected setup no longer attempts to resume services that do not exist yet.
- Prepared keys, settings and the speech model are retained. Automatic updates remain disabled; use Check for updates.
For older versions: If 0.3.0 or 0.3.1 keeps waiting before Dot has been connected, a new download cannot repair the old updater itself. Quit Dot Link, download the latest version and replace only the app in your home Applications folder. Do not uninstall or delete the settings data.
Validation: 126 unit tests, 9 HTTP integration tests and 4 update-driver groups. Update preparation, cancellation/recovery and retention of prepared settings were verified on an unconnected Mac. Recovery of connected Dot/G2 sessions was not part of this device test. The app is not Apple-notarized.
公開後の実機確認: 修正版0.3.2/build60から公開build61への手動更新で、ダウンロード・署名検証・自動終了・差し替え・再起動に成功。公開配布物との一致と準備済みキー・設定・モデルの保持を確認しました。
Post-release device check: A manual update from fixed 0.3.2/build60 to public build61 completed download, signature verification, automatic quit, replacement and relaunch. The installed files matched the public bundle, and prepared keys, settings and the model were retained.
Dot Link for Mac 0.3.1
音声入力の選択肢と、音声出力の設定画面を追加しました。
- 音声入力にElevenLabs、Microsoft、OpenAI、AssemblyAIを追加。Whisper smallとSonioxも引き続き利用できます。
- 外部サービスはご自身のAPIキーと利用枠を使います。MicrosoftはAzure Speechの接続先も必要です。失敗時に別サービスへ自動送信しません。
- 接続状況に「音声出力」を追加。現在はiPhoneの標準音声に対応し、読み上げのON／OFFはEven側で切り替えます。
- 公開中のEven 0.2.14でも音声入力の通信方式は共通です。全6サービスとモデル名の表示にはEven 0.2.21が必要です。Even 0.2.21は別途審査・公開されます。
更新はMacアプリの「アップデートを確認」から行えます。接続設定を作り直す必要はありません。自動更新は引き続き停止中です。更新後、APIキーへのアクセスや通知のアクセシビリティ権限の再許可が必要な場合があります。Apple公証は未実施です。
検証: 単体121件、HTTP統合9件、通知ネイティブ66項目、更新ドライバ4グループ、隔離Keychainの試験に成功。Whisper・Soniox・ElevenLabsは実際の音声認識を確認済みです。OpenAIは利用枠エラーまでの確認で、Microsoft・AssemblyAIは実アカウントでの認識成功をまだ確認していません。
Added more speech input options and a speech output settings screen.
- Added ElevenLabs, Microsoft, OpenAI and AssemblyAI alongside local Whisper small and Soniox.
- External services use your own API key and quota. Microsoft also requires an Azure Speech endpoint. Failures do not send audio to another service automatically.
- Added Speech output to Connections. iPhone system speech is the current option; read-aloud remains controlled in the Even companion.
- The published Even 0.2.14 uses the same speech input API. Labels for all six services and their models require Even 0.2.21, which will be reviewed and published separately.
Use Check for updates in the Mac app. Existing connection settings are retained. Automatic updates remain disabled. After updating, you may need to allow Keychain access or reauthorize notification Accessibility access. The app is not Apple-notarized.
Validation: 121 unit tests, 9 HTTP integration tests, 66 native notification checks, 4 update-driver groups and isolated Keychain checks passed. Live transcription was verified with Whisper, Soniox and ElevenLabs. OpenAI reached a quota error; successful live transcription with Microsoft and AssemblyAI has not yet been verified.

- Macの「音声入力」で無料のWhisper、またはご自身のAPIキーを使うSonioxを選択できます。SonioxのAPI料金・利用枠が適用されます。キーはMacのキーチェーンに保存し、録音はMacからSonioxへ直接送ります。
- 公開中のEven 0.2.14と互換性があります。サービス名表示などのEven側の変更は0.2.19に含まれ、Even Hubで別途審査されます。
- サービス選択とヘルプを整理しました。TTSサービスの選択機能は今回の更新には含まれません。
更新後にキーチェーンの確認が出た場合は「常に許可」を選択してください。通知共有が止まった場合は、システム設定のアクセシビリティ内のDot Linkを一度削除し、インストール先のDot Link.appを追加し直してオンにしてください。自動更新は引き続き一時停止中です。

Speech input now supports provider selection.
- Choose free local Whisper or Soniox with your own API key in Speech input on the Mac. Soniox API charges and limits apply. Keys stay in macOS Keychain; recordings go directly from your Mac to Soniox.
- Compatible with the currently published Even 0.2.14. Provider labels and related companion changes are included in Even 0.2.19 and go through a separate Even Hub review.
- Simplified speech settings and help. TTS provider selection is not part of this update.
If Keychain asks after updating, choose Always Allow. If notification sharing stops, remove Dot Link from the Accessibility list in System Settings, add the installed Dot Link.app again, and turn access on. Automatic updates remain temporarily disabled.
