Changelog

  • Changes to the core of the program

    We have made huge revamps to the complete core. The priority lays on making ProxyBeast a high-performance, reliable, accurate and rapid proxy checker with advanced capabilities. Interesting features have been added, such as:

    • Native proxy client

      We've made Proxifier especially to port it with ProxyBeast. It is a high-performance and low level proxy client that implements
      all variaties of proxy protocols. Completely native with zero dependencies. This allows ProxyBeast to perform reliable and rapid checking, due to more low level access.

    • Lightweight and swift pool controller

      A powerful goroutine pool controller for ProxyBeast, which is lightweight, swift and efficient.
      All operations run in parallel.

    • App settings & store

      Users can change default applicaton settings, such as timeout, judge and poolSize.

      • Store

        There is a store that stores the amount of scans and working proxies ever scanned using ProxyBeast on the current user.

    • Multi protocol checking

      ProxyBeast can check for multiple protocols at once. To elaborate follow, read the following below.

      192.168.1.1:4000
      user:pass@192.168.1.2:4000

      Let's assume that we provide ProxyBeast with such proxy list and we select MULTI option. For multiple protocol checking.
      Then ProxyBeast would do the following.

      For 192.168.1.1:4000 it will check all protocols.

      For user:pass@192.168.1.2:4000 it will check all protocols, and would also authenticate using the user:pass

      If both proxy servers support some protocols, for example let's say, they do support HTTPS/SOCKS5.
      Then ProxyBeast would save them in your save file:

      {"proxy":"192.168.1.1:4000","protocol":"socks5","latency":"1004ms","anonimity":"elite"}
      {"proxy":"192.168.1.1:4000","protocol":"https","latency":"900ms","anonimity":"elite"}
      {"proxy":"user:pass@192.168.1.2:4000","protocol":"socks5","latency":"800ms","anonimity":"elite"}
      {"proxy":"user:pass@192.168.1.2:4000","protocol":"https","latency":"304ms","anonimity":"elite"}
    • File format

      Supports several file formats, see an example below:

      [scheme:][//[userinfo@]host][/]path[?query][#fragment]

      ip:port
      socks4://user:pass@ip:port
      user:pass@ip:port

    • GUI

      We've turned ProxyBeast into a cross-platform desktop application to ease up on usage. Later on we will bring out the CLI version.
