KeyPlus v0.2.8 — Packaging Pass Release Notes
Status: Packaging-focused update.
Stability: App still in active beta; breakage is expected.
Windows Installer
The Windows .exe installer does not work yet.
This release includes the first packaging attempt, but the installer engine is still under development.
A working Windows installer is the next milestone, followed by publishing to the Windows Store.
Snap Package
The Snap package bundled in this release is broken.
However, the version currently published on the Snap Store (0.2.9.1) does work and remains the recommended Snap installation.
Debian Package
The .deb package is stable and remains the preferred Linux installation method.
This is the format I actively test and use during development.
Work in Progress
I’m actively working on stabilizing the Windows installer pipeline.
Once the .exe is reliable, KeyPlus will be published to the Windows Store alongside the Snap Store release.
