I might re-consdier that when CLAP is fully supported by JUCE.
Yes, the code is almost the same. BUT it will increase the RAM usage of plugin. I am not sure whether it is a good idea. |

RAM usage might not be a problem. In a session with 40-50 tracks, a LOT of
plugins and a browser with 120ish tabs open I use about 10 Gb of my 32 Gb
of ram. Most have 32 Gb ++ Gb of ram these days. More DSP load though, we
do not need.

Since the plugin already computes its response curve for the built-in
analyzer, exposing it through that AAX interface would mostly be wiring,
not new DSP.

Pro Tools has a mini EQ curve display in the Mix window, part of the AAX SDK since version 2018.4. FabFilter Pro-Q uses it, the curve shows directly in the channel strip insert without opening the plugin UI.
Since the plugin already computes its response curve for the built-in analyzer, exposing it through that AAX interface would mostly be wiring, not new DSP.
Would be a great addition for Pro Tools users.
