Mochi v2.2
Mochi v2.2
Released July 21, 2026
What’s new
- Fixed an issue where dragging an image could make copied text disappear.
- Clipboard screenshots now appear in the image grid alongside files from Downloads.
- Clipboard images and downloaded images are ordered together by recency.
- PNG and TIFF clipboard images can be selected, annotated with copied text, and dragged into other apps just like downloaded images.
- Mochi keeps up to 16 clipboard images for the current session and removes their temporary files automatically.
- A persistent Show clipboard images switch is available directly in the menu bar menu and in Settings.
- Turning clipboard images off immediately clears the session’s captured images and stops collecting new ones; Downloads images continue to work normally.
- The Settings… menu command now opens the native Settings window reliably.
Notes
- Clipboard-image history is session-only and is not restored after Mochi quits.
- Mochi continues to require macOS 13 or later.
- This build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Read
