Release list
Obelisk 0.4.0
Obelisk 0.4.0 asks before updating Voile and shows you what's new, and brings Team Fortress 2 to your Mac! 🚀🎉
Obelisk changes
Features
- When a newer Voile release is out, Obelisk now asks before your Windows game starts and shows its release notes: update now, or skip it for this launch. Nothing downloads in the background any more
- Home now shows Obelisk Verified games, and a search that finds nothing offers to search the stores #11 (Thanks to @BrandonSigil)
- A game's page now shows Obelisk's notes about it, starting with Team Fortress 2's #15 (Thanks to @BrandonSigil)
- Team Fortress 2 now starts on DirectX level 95, where its maps load #13 (Thanks to @BrandonSigil)
Fixes
- Fixed Epic downloads stopping with "This Epic content format is not supported" on games built with recent Epic tools, such as Dead by Daylight
- Fixed Epic games losing their Epic session once they close, as the Epic Games Launcher keeps it
- Fixed stopped downloads that could no longer be resumed or deleted after Obelisk quit #9 (Thanks to @BrandonSigil)
- A failed Steam Cloud check before a launch now asks in a window over the whole app #12 (Thanks to @BrandonSigil)
- Fixed the download speed wrapping onto two lines beside large figures #8 (Thanks to @BrandonSigil)
Obelisk 0.3.0
Obelisk 0.3.0 brings Fall Guys to your Mac, and keeps your Windows games' runtime up to date on its own! 🎈🎉
Obelisk changes
Features
- Fall Guys is now playable, with its Easy Anti-Cheat
- Obelisk now updates Voile, the runtime your Windows games run in, by itself: when you launch a Windows game, a newer release downloads in the background once no game is running, and your next launch uses it. New Voile releases no longer wait for an Obelisk update
- Game-specific fixes now reach you without an Obelisk update as well
- Home now shows storefront warnings, Steam Cloud questions and errors, so a game launched from Home no longer waits on a question you can't see #2 (Thanks to @OddAna)
Fixes
- Fixed Mac games whose Steam Cloud saves only exist for Windows or Linux, such as KIBORG, stopping at a Cloud error instead of starting #3 (Thanks to @OddAna)
Voile changes
Voile v26.3.0-16
Fixes
- Fixed Unity games, such as Fall Guys, failing to download their content or reach their servers on the Linux engine
- Fixed the mouse camera in games that lock the cursor, such as Fall Guys, spinning at one speed or staying stuck on the Linux engine
