Optimum

Optimum is a performance patch for Vintage Story that applies engine-level optimizations at launch time. It builds from source against your own Vintage Story installation, never modifies your vanilla files, and caches the patched assemblies for instant subsequent launches.

Quick Start

1. Clone the repository (releases are source-only — Vintage Story is proprietary)
2. Run the installer for your platform (install-windows.cmd or ./scripts/install-linux.sh)
3. Launch Optimum from the shortcut the installer creates

First launch applies patches to four assemblies while a splash screen shows progress. Every launch after that is instant.
