- Eating a Jaffa Cake or a slice of Giant Jaffa Cake gives you the Digger effect which allows you to dig in a 3x3 area. This effect can be temporarily negated by crouching.
- Using bonemeal on leaves with buds will cause them to grow new oranges.
- Crouching while holding oranges and right clicking on bare leaves will reattach the orange to the leaves. Useful for decorating.
- Drinking a glass of orange juice will grant you the Bolster effect, curing withering and protecting you from it for a short time.
- Pushing a vanilla slime into a pool of orange juice will cause it to transform into an orange jelly slime after a few seconds.
- Bouncy but without the sticky properties of slime blocks.
- Sticking a lightning rod into one and waiting for a lightning strike will cause it to transform into an orange jelly slime.

- Can be lured with sugar.
- If two jellies of the same size are fed sugar they will fuse into a jelly one size larger.
- Freshly fused jellies have two cores, jellies with two cores will always split into two smaller jellies if killed, splitting back into their constituent parts.
- After a certain period of time a fused jelly's cores will merge into a standard single core. This process can be accelerated by feeding a fused slime more sugar.
- If killed, jellies with one core will split into 2-4 smaller slimes. By cleverly fusing and killing jellies only once their cores have merged you can multiply your jelly slimes and increase your orange jelly yield by only expending sugar!
- Will melt into liquid chocolate in hot biomes during the day. (Can be disabled in the mod config or otherwise expanded to melt near light/heat sources too.)
- Certain dyes can be haunted, transforming them into their inverse colour. (Hint: The inverse of orange is blue...)
