V42.0.6 – Community Update & New Features

Fuel my late-night ideas with a coffee? I'd really appreciate it — keep this project running!

Bootstrap / Table Check on Startup:

Some users reported that after deleting the SFML database, the bootstrap failed on certain systems and tables were not created or repaired correctly.
The issue has been identified and fixed.

SFML now checks at Home Assistant startup (as Single Source of Truth) whether all required tables exist and are intact.
This check is necessary because the database can become corrupted due to crashes, container crashes (Proxmox/VM), power outages, blocking, HA errors, hardware issues, hard resets, etc.

Diagnostic Sensors Showing Nonsense Values:

With the introduction of the Promotion Gate for the best training model, the data source of some diagnostic sensors changed.
I simply forgot to reconnect them – sorry!
This has now been fixed.

New Feature: Correct Values (Premium only):

For a long time I have been looking for a 100 % Home Assistant-compliant way to allow corrections – without ever touching or manipulating the original Home Assistant database or the SFML database.

Such a solution is now integrated.
Please note: This is a first beta version and is only available for Premium users.

Currently correctable:

  • Grid import
  • Grid export
  • PV yield
  • Price per kWh (for fixed tariffs)

Not correctable (these values depend on each other):

  • House consumption (calculated from multiple energy flows)
  • Solar → House, Solar → Battery, Grid → House, Grid → Battery
  • Battery charge and battery discharge
  • Self-consumption and self-sufficiency
  • Costs, savings and feed-in revenue
  • Efficiencies
  • Peak power and time
  • Forecast, weather and ML values

Correcting any of these dependent values individually could create unrealistic results (e.g. more house consumption than available energy or impossible efficiency values).

Weather Fusion AI (EAI Edition)

The warning about a function that will be deprecated from August 2027 has been removed.
