Binary version check at session start - The session-start hook now checks the installed ctx binary version against MIN_BINARY_VERSION (currently 0.3.0). If the binary is a dev build or below the minimum, a warning is displayed prompting the user to run /ctx:setup to upgrade.
Implemented in both session-start.sh (Linux/macOS) and session-start.ps1 (Windows)
How it works
ctx version output is parsed at session start
Dev builds (ctx dev (commit none, built unknown)) show: ctx binary is a dev build - run /ctx:setup to install the release version
Outdated versions show: ctx binary outdated: vX.Y.Z installed, v0.3.0+ required. Run /ctx:setup to upgrade
When the plugin needs a newer binary in the future, only MIN_BINARY_VERSION needs updating
