v1.0.0-beta.1

@Zeikrom251 Zeikrom251 released this 08 Oct 23:09

The first Beta release of StewardPad for Windows. It brings Team: every steward of your league
works on the same race, from their own PC. Stewarding on your own stays free and needs no
account.

Added

  • Sign in with Discord. On the welcome screen choose Steward with your league, or later
Settings → Account → Sign in with Discord. Your browser opens on stewardpad.com, you
approve StewardPad on Discord, and the app picks up from there. Your sign-in stays in Windows
Credential Manager, and StewardPad never sees your Discord password.
  • One race, every steward. In a league, an incident logged on one PC appears on the others
within a second, with every change after it. Offline, your changes wait on your PC and leave
in order when the connection is back. The status bar says Synced, Sending 2 changes…
or Offline, and the title bar shows your league.
  • Working at the same time. Two stewards changing different parts of an incident both keep
their change. If you both change the same field, the newer change is kept and the incident
says Edited twice, so someone checks it.
  • Live timing from one PC. The steward whose PC runs Le Mans Ultimate presses Start
    streaming to the league
on the Team page, and every other PC follows that game's standings
and clock. Look-back stamps line up across PCs, and the game's collisions are logged once,
for everyone. The stream always carries the game: if the streaming PC switches to the
    Simulator, its stream stops.
  • See where the timing comes from. Above the standings, Live from Karim's PC in blue is
the league's stream; From your game is your own. The status bar uses the same blue.
  • The Team page. Your league's stewards, who is online and who is streaming. Head stewards
make invite links (valid 7 days), change roles and remove stewards; the owner renames, hands
over or deletes the league. New session opens the next race; once it's decided, a head
steward closes it and its incidents become read-only.
  • Join with an invite link. Paste the link your league sent you. Invited stewards never
    pay.
  • Team subscription. Running a league costs €5 per month, paid by its owner, for 1, 2 or 3
months at a time. Request it from Settings → Account: we check each request by hand and
send a PayPal payment request. Nothing renews or charges by itself.
  • Claim an incident. Press Claim at the top of an incident to tell the others you're on
it, and Unclaim to take your name off. Changing an incident claims it too. It works on
your own as well, with the name from Settings → Your name.
  • Your data, your call. Settings → Account downloads everything our servers hold about
    you, and deletes your account.

Changed

  • "Reviewed by" is now "Claimed by", and lists everyone. An incident used to keep one
reviewer, the last steward who changed it. It now lists every steward who worked on it: in
the inspector, as initials in every incident list, in the steward log, and in the exports
and Discord posts when you choose to show stewards' names. The reviewer of an older session
    file becomes its first claim.

v0.1.0-alpha.3

@Zeikrom251 Zeikrom251 released this 05 Oct 16:55

The third Alpha release of StewardPad for Windows.

Added

  • See which incidents were merged. An incident that others were merged into now shows a
merge icon and their numbers ("# 2, # 3") next to its type: on the Incidents page, in the Race
page's incident list and in the Review queue. The merged incidents themselves stay out of
    the lists, as before.
  • See which penalties are still to serve. An incident with a penalty applied now shows
Served or Not served beside its status, from the Served box in the incident's
penalty, so the penalties still to serve stand out without opening each incident.

Fixed

  • Cancelling a print no longer freezes StewardPad. On the Reports page, closing the print
dialog of the stewards' decisions document without printing could leave the app frozen
until it was closed and opened again. It now carries on as normal, and you can print again
    straight away.

eb1404d

The second Alpha release of StewardPad for Windows.

Added

  • Delete several incidents at once. On the Incidents page, tick the incidents you want
to remove and click Delete in the selection bar, next to Set status and Merge. StewardPad
asks once more ("Delete 2 incidents?") before anything is removed, and the selected
incidents go in one step: if one of them no longer exists, none is deleted.
  • Fold the Race page's side panel. The arrow at the top right of the Quick log folds the
quick log and the incident list into a thin strip, so the standings get the whole width. The
strip keeps the Log incident button (and Space still logs); the arrow on it brings the
panel back. StewardPad remembers your choice the next time you open it.

Fixed

  • The cars' other incidents stay inside the Cars section. In the incident panel and on the
Review page, the "Also in" list under each car could run past the section and over the rest
of the panel. It now wraps onto more lines, and past ten incidents the rest fold behind a
"+N more" link that shows them all.
  • Settings → Updates says why a check failed. It used to answer "Could not reach GitHub"
to every problem. It now tells apart no connection, no release published yet, and a build
for a system StewardPad has no releases for.

  • fix(desktop): keep the cars' other incidents inside the section by @Zeikrom251 in #8

@Zeikrom251 Zeikrom251 released this 29 Sep 19:58

The first Alpha release of StewardPad for Windows: race control for Le Mans Ultimate stewards, on
your own PC.

Added

  • Live race control. Standings for every car from Le Mans Ultimate, or a simulator to
train and demo without the game.
  • Log it now, review it later. Press Space and the incident is stamped a few seconds back
(10 by default), where the replay needs to start. Pick the cars from the standings or with
    1 to 9.
  • The incident inspector. Status in one click, every car with its part in it, an
investigation written for drivers and steward notes that stay between stewards.
  • Review queue. Every undecided incident in race order, one at a time, full screen.
  • Your league's rule book. Import it from Google Docs or Word, keep its numbering
(3.3.a, 3.4.b.iii), cite the rules an incident broke and edit the book in the app.
  • Publishing. A formal stewards' decisions document (web page or PDF), a penalty sheet,
driver and full-log spreadsheets and a results JSON file.
  • Live Discord announcements. Each status change posted to your league's channel, with
    the embed you design.
  • Several stewards, one session. Share session files and merge them.
