If Feature request is allowed then Please add:

1. Option to Set Preview Mode to Default Mode on APP Load or from settings.
2. Option to Bookmark in Preview Mode. So that, Later we can continue reading from the bookmarked position.
3. Remember Last Cursor Position during Edit Mode and Load from that position in Preview mode. Now, it forgets last cursor position and loads from the beginning of the document. Which forces us to scroll down every time to find the last position and continue reading...

Thanks for the request! Two of the three land in 2.24.0 (commits 1c49551 and 8e82d63, on PR #551; main fast-forwards at release):

1. Default view mode — Settings → Editor → Default view mode now picks what a note opens in before you have chosen a mode for it: Edit, Split, or Preview. Each note still remembers the mode you last used on it, and the preference travels with your portable config.toml (default_view_mode under [editor]).

3. Preview opens where you were editing — switching from Edit (or Split) into Preview now lands the reading view on the line your cursor was on, instead of the top of the note. Per-note scroll positions were already remembered within a session; the missing piece was carrying the editing position across the mode switch, and that is exactly what forced the scroll-to-find-my-place routine you described.

2. Bookmarks in Preview — deliberately not built yet. Between the position carry-over and per-note position memory, "continue reading where I left off" should mostly just work now. If you still want named, explicit bookmarks after trying 2.24.0 (for example several saved positions in one long document), please open a focused issue for it — it deserves its own design rather than a bolt-on here.

Closing with the two shipped; the bookmarks idea is welcome as a follow-up issue.
