Self-hosted ZenNotes server 2.60.1 with the pinned browser artifact web-2.60.4-web.ha0258ecc7b3c0133 (built from ZenNotes/zennotes 840c9284, the same core 2.60.4 the iPhone 1.17.1 and Android 1.1.31 apps carry).
What changed for self-hosters:
- Attached video, audio and PDF files now embed in the note (
![[path]]) instead of landing as a plain link, so the note shows a player or a document; any other file still gets a link (#8). The desktop and phone apps make the same choice. - The browser app plays those embeds in Edit mode too, where 2.60.0 showed the raw line, and gains the 2.60.1 to 2.60.4 client fixes: folder pickers that open without the keyboard on touch screens, and heading links that follow on a tap and in their Markdown forms (
[text](#heading)).
The web client's bridge and the routes it calls are unchanged, and no Go dependency moved.
Verification before publication: prepare-web installed the archive from the manifest URL and verified every file; vet, the package tests (including the new TestImportAssetEmbedsMediaAndLinksOtherFiles) and the embedded bundle test passed; every released binary checked matches SHA256SUMS and the manifest asset is the committed pin byte for byte; on a scratch vault, with a scratch HOME and config, the released darwin-arm64 binary reported version 2.60.1, served the 2.60.4 bundle and reported the vault root.
Docker: adibhanna/zennotes:2.60.1, 2.60 and latest are published from this tag by the repository's Docker publisher.
