Self-hosted ZenNotes server 2.62.0 with the pinned browser artifact web-2.62.0-web.h53c3b6622d59ff2e (built from ZenNotes/zennotes fb3d13f8, the v2.62.0 release commit; the iPhone 1.18.0 and Android 1.1.32 apps carry the same app code as core 2.62.0).
What changed for self-hosters:
- Files reached through a symlink are listed as assets, so a vault that links in an attachments folder from elsewhere shows those files and plays or opens their embeds (#11). The desktop app lists them the same way.
- The browser app says "x isn't on this device" for an embed whose file the server does not have, instead of drawing an empty player or a broken frame, and shows the file as soon as it arrives.
- It also brings the rest of ZenNotes 2.62.0 that runs in the browser: Kanban columns can be ordered by due date (Order next to Group by,
swith Vim on,:order due), dated wikilinks such as[[2024.01.15]]open their note instead of a web address, and link hints label the links in the Edit view.
The web client's bridge and the routes it calls are unchanged since 2.60.1, and no Go dependency moved.
Verification before publication: prepare-web installed the archive from the manifest URL and verified every file; vet, the package tests (including #11's) and the embedded bundle test passed; every released binary checked matches SHA256SUMS and the manifest asset is the committed pin byte for byte; on a scratch vault, with a scratch HOME and config, the released darwin-arm64 binary reported version 2.62.0 and the vault root, and the embedded build served the 2.62.0 bundle.
