Self-hosted ZenNotes server 2.68.0 with the pinned browser artifact web-2.68.0-web.h1c5ca208ca08d773 (built from ZenNotes/zennotes 881baa6a, the v2.68.0 release commit).
What changed for self-hosters:
- The browser app gets ZenNotes 2.68.0's editor and reading fixes: indenting leaves a heading at the margin instead of turning it into a code block (#925), and a table with column widths set in the editor keeps them in Preview and scrolls sideways when it is wider than the column (#920). Its own text no longer uses long dashes.
- The demo tour names its notes "00 Start Here", "01 Markdown Basics" and so on, matching the apps, and two notes that had drifted from the apps' copy (Callouts and Footnotes, the Vim Cheat Sheet) catch up. A vault that already holds the tour under the older names gets one tour, not two: regenerating replaces the old files, and removing the tour removes them.
The web client's bridge and the routes it calls are unchanged since 2.67.0, and no Go dependency moved.
Verification before publication: prepare-web installed the artifact archive into a clean web/dist and verified every file; CI (Go on macOS, Ubuntu and Windows, Docker, Nix) passed; the new demo tests pass, and two of them fail with the old-name cleanup disabled; an embedded local build reported v2.68.0, served the app, kept to its scratch vault and wrote the 17 renamed demo notes; every released binary checked matches SHA256SUMS and the manifest asset is the committed pin byte for byte; with a scratch config and vault, the released darwin-arm64 binary reported version 2.68.0, served the app, answered 401 without the token and the scratch vault root with it.
Docker: adibhanna/zennotes:2.68.0, 2.68 and latest are published from this tag by the repository's Docker publisher (linux/amd64 and linux/arm64, one digest).
