v2.69.0
Self-hosted ZenNotes server 2.69.0 with the pinned browser artifact web-2.69.0-web.h90d11c06b6e3cf34 (built from ZenNotes/zennotes d1344076, the v2.69.0 release commit).
What changed for self-hosters:
- The browser app gets ZenNotes 2.69.0's fixes: the New note form in search names the keys that work in the field you are in (ZenNotes/zennotes#933); shortcuts that switch, reopen or create a note no longer act behind Settings, a palette or a menu, and the Tasks calendar's keys no longer change tasks behind a dialog; Settings → Keymap leaves out the keys for reviewing an assistant's edits, which only the desktop app offers; and the in-app manual shows bold names and paragraphs instead of their markers.
- Assistants on a server vault: the desktop app 2.69.0 can now hand this server's token to the MCP servers on that machine (Settings → MCP → Server token), and its bundled MCP server reads the token
zn connectsaved, so assistants reach a token-protected server without a terminal step. Nothing changes on the server for that.
The web client's bridge and the routes it calls are unchanged since 2.68.0, and no Go dependency moved.
Verification before publication: prepare-web installed the artifact archive into a clean web/dist and verified every file; CI (Go on macOS, Ubuntu and Windows, Docker, Nix) passed on #26; go vet and go test pass; an embedded local build reported v2.69.0, served the app and kept to its scratch vault, and in a browser against it Settings → Keymap listed no agent edit review keys; every released binary matches SHA256SUMS and the manifest asset is the committed pin byte for byte; with a scratch config and vault, the released darwin-arm64 binary reported version 2.69.0, served the app, answered 401 without the token and the scratch vault root with it.
Docker: adibhanna/zennotes:2.69.0, 2.69 and latest are published from this tag by the repository's Docker publisher (linux/amd64 and linux/arm64, one digest).
