Self-hosted ZenNotes server 2.69.1 with the pinned browser artifact web-2.69.1-web.he3742063f1986fdb (built from ZenNotes/zennotes 86e98b49, the v2.69.1 release commit).
What changed for self-hosters:
- The Tasks view lists every task the desktop lists. The server read task lines with its own pattern, which took bullets and
1.lists only, so tasks in1)lists and in quotes (> - [ ]) never reached the browser app's Tasks view. It now reads them as the desktop app does, and as the desktop's MCP server (2.69.1) and zn (0.7.2) do since today. - The browser app gets ZenNotes 2.69.1's fix: Convert Table to Database offers the heading right above the table in a long note too, instead of an earlier heading the editor had not read past yet.
The web client's bridge and the routes it calls are unchanged since 2.69.0, and no Go dependency moved.
Verification before publication: TestParseTasksReadsEveryTaskShape fails on the old pattern (2 of 5 tasks) and passes now; prepare-web installed the artifact archive into a clean web/dist and verified every file; go vet, go test ./... and go test -tags=embed_web ./web pass; a server built like the release on a scratch vault served the app, answered 401 without the token and listed all five tasks of the test note with it; CI passed on #28. Every released binary matches SHA256SUMS, and the manifest asset is the committed pin byte for byte; with a scratch config and vault, the released darwin-arm64 binary reported v2.69.1, served the app, answered 401 without the token and listed all five tasks with it.
Docker: adibhanna/zennotes:2.69.1, 2.69 and latest are published from this tag by the repository's Docker publisher (linux/amd64 and linux/arm64, one digest).
