LiveShell Engine

LiveShell Engine v1.2

A video on the PS Store, and fixes.

  • PS Store only: the video shows only on the PlayStation Store tile. Every other tile keeps the normal PS5 background and music.
  • No video on some consoles, and the loader not starting LiveShell: fixed (#2).
  • PS Store video no longer flashes on the first tile when LiveShell loads.

How to use

  1. Put .mp4 files in /data/LiveShell/video or in a liveshell folder on USB.
  2. Load liveshell.elf.
  3. Open the LiveShell Engine (Media).
  4. For the Store: turn on PS Store only in the right panel, then PS Store video → Change.

Supported: H.264 and HEVC Only 1080p. 4k not supported yet.

If your video doesn't play, drag it onto convert_for_ps5.bat from LiveShell-Converter.zip and wait until its done.
