LiveShell Engine v1.4.0
LiveShell Engine v1.4.0
4K/2K wallpapers, videos per game only and much more.
What's new
- 4K wallpapers 4K and 2K videos (H.264 and HEVC) now play on the home screen.
- 4K works as the main wallpaper and in PS Store only mode.
- While a game is open the PS5 gives the home screen no 4K decoder, so a 4K wallpaper hides and comes back by itself when you close the game.
- Per game, 4K and 2K videos are not supported.
- Videos per game only (Settings, off by default): only games that have their own video show one; every other tile keeps the normal PS5 background.
- Every video has a ✓ or ✕. A video that won't play says why and you can fix it by using liveShell converter.
- Badges on every video: its resolution (4K, 2K, FHD, HD) and whether it has sound too.
- Favorites: Favorites stay pinned at the top of the list.
- Discover → Popular: sort the wallpapers by how often they were downloaded.
- LiveShell Converter 4K and 2K videos now are supported too.
