Is it possible to add animation compatibility with the [Fresh Animations: Player Extension] resource pack?

Hello developer! I noticed that Better Combat is currently incompatible with [Fresh Animinations: Player Extension]. Would it be possible to consider adding compatibility between them in a future update? ❤️

That project seems to be incompatible with the library Better Combat uses, PlayerAnimator.
ETF/EMF needs to implement its animations in a more compatible way. (Like how Not Enough Animations does it)

As Better Combat is merely a user of the PlayerAnimator library, there is zero action I can take.

If the conflict is caused by the attack animation from Better Combat and Fresh Animations: Player Extension, then you just need to remove the texture command line and keep only the attack animation from Better Combat.

Remove the attack animation from "FA (Player Extension)"; this will ensure that only the Better Combat attack animation remains.

Could you tell me how and exactly what steps you followed to modify FA? I’m interested in doing the same and removing the “bow/crossbow” usage animation to make it compatible with mods that use that vanilla animation to keep the arm raised without using a bow. It seems that conflicts with FA’s animation and prevents the arm from lifting.

unfortunatly. this doesnt seem to work anymore.

the Arms are completly broken and stiff. the Attacking Animations work now, but the Movement?.......yeah.....no..

Can confirm the provided file does not appropriately fix the issue. The attacks still aren't animated the same as just with Better Combat and no FA:PE, and also some strange behaviors with limbs causing them to be offset and floating in many other animations.

is there a way to make this compatible with carry on, paragliders, and instruments? such as temporarely disabling the animation during these specific actions? please help
