v0.1.1
Round v0.1.1 Release Notes
Advanced Control Flow & Compiler Stability
This release introduces a context-aware compiler that enables powerful new control flow patterns while strictly preventing false positives in standard JavaScript code.
- Implicit Nesting: You can now nest control flow statements (
if,for,switch) directly inside RoundJS blocks without needing extra braces orFragmentwrappers. The compiler recursively transforms these structures into optimized reactive expressions.{if(isAdmin) { if(hasAccess) { <AdminPanel /> } else { <Restricted /> } }}
- Context-Aware Parsing: The transformer is now "JSX-Aware", meaning it tracks the depth of JSX tags. This fixes the longstanding issue where standard JavaScript
ifstatements or text content containing "if" inside strings were incorrectly transformed. - Reactive Switch Statements: Fixed a critical bug where
switchstatements were evaluated statically. They are now transformed into reactive Thunks, ensuring that fine-grained updates trigger correctly when the switched signal changes. - Robust Brace Matching: The block parser has been hardened to handle nested object literals, template strings, and comments without causing "Unbalanced Brace" errors.
Round Extension v0.1.2 (VS Code)
Synced the editor experience with the new compiler capabilities.
- Unified Logic: The LSP now uses the exact same parsing logic as the core compiler, ensuring that syntax highlighting and error diagnostics match the build output perfectly.
- Safety Guards: Implemented a strict
JSX Depthcheck in the LSP. The extension will now completely ignore control flow keywords outside of JSX contexts, eliminating false error reports in your standard.js/.tslogic.
