LiveDrive 1.7.3.0 — Store release

Changes since 1.7.0.0 are primarily packaging correctness fixes that resolve the certification failures, plus two Camera Roll backup improvements.

Windows 10 Mobile (build 15063) support is retained. ARM and x64.

Camera Roll backup

  • Backup results now report attempted, uploaded, skipped, and failed item counts, plus the first reported error when an upload fails.

  • Fixed a single failed file ending an entire scheduled backup run; remaining eligible files are now still attempted. Cancelling a backup still stops the run immediately.

Store packaging and certification

  • Fixed Store submissions failing .NET Native compilation because the uploaded package omitted the Windows Runtime metadata the Store's cloud compiler needs to rebuild the app. Store packages now retain it; sideload packages continue to exclude it.

  • Fixed the uploaded package declaring a Windows 10 Mobile minimum version while requesting a .NET Native runtime available only on newer Windows releases, leaving the Store with no valid toolchain. The app now targets a single consistent platform version.

  • Fixed the background backup component being compiled against an older .NET framework package than the main app, which produced a mixed runtime closure inside a single Store package.

Installing the sideload package

  1. Download LiveDrive_1.7.3.0_x64_arm_Store.cer and install it into Local Machine → Trusted People.

  2. Download and open LiveDrive_1.7.3.0_x64_arm_Store.appxbundle to install.

On Windows 10 Mobile, install the certificate first, then open the bundle from the device.
