v0.8.22
aki 0.8.22 — first public binary release.
aki hands a coding task to an AI agent that works across every repo in your workspace at
once. Each task gets its own git worktree and branch per repo, so several can run in
parallel without touching your checkout. Drive a task from the terminal, from the browser,
or hand it back and forth — it's one session either way.
Install
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/a-knowledge-interface/aki-cli/main/install.sh | bashA single self-contained binary — no Rust toolchain and no Node runtime. Needs git and
the Claude CLI; the installer
fetches zellij for terminal mode if you don't have it.
In this release
- Multi-repo tasks on isolated git worktrees, run in parallel
merge/done/clean— land the work and tear down the workspace separately, with refusals that protect unmerged or uncommitted workaki t add-repo— give an existing task one more of the project's repos, mid-flight- Orchestration:
aki t wait/aki t sendlet one task drive another, with exit codes a script can act on; theon_agent_idlehook fires when an agent needs you aki stopcheckpoints uncommitted work onto the task's branch, so nothing is stranded- Web UI drive with per-tool approvals and per-task autonomy (manual / auto / zevs)
- Project knowledge: every session captured, searchable, and distilled into learnings
