💾 Visit the Assets below to download a ZIP file containing disk images for your language (en = English, etc)
Each ZIP file contains 800k .2MG, 32MB .HDV, and 140k .PO disk images for use with a real Apple II or emulators.

Changes relative to previous v1.6 alpha:

General

  • Show app icons for system files in file picker.
  • Make mouse cursor responsive while drawing menus.

DeskTop

  • Add Space as shortcut to select first icon.
  • When needed, ensure icon scrolled into view even if already selected.
  • Fix crash when repainting only header of scrolled window.
  • Correctly show ⏎ shortcut for File > Rename.
  • Support dragging files onto ProDOS "interpreter" applications. (https://github.com/a2stuff/a2d/issues/903)
  • Add small icons for system files.
  • Fix crash when inspecting file with invalid dates.
  • Fix File menu remaining highlighted after failed open.
  • Renamed "Startup" menu to "Restart"

Selector

  • Renamed "Startup" menu to "Restart"

Disk Copy

  • Rename "Quick Copy" to "Smart Block Copy" and "Disk Copy" to "Full Disk Copy".

  • International: Reduce cursor flickering.
  • Calculator & Sci.Calc: Reduce cursor flickering.
  • Joystick
    • Fix cursor becoming hidden on joystick button press.
    • Reduce cursor flickering.
  • DOS 3.3 Import
    • Close window if too many icons present after import.
    • Handle control characters and empty filenames.
    • Prevent crash if VTOC can't be read.
