  • Update - Staff AI voice: hands-free and much faster. Tap the microphone once, speak, and a pause sends it — no second tap. Your assistant answers, and when it finishes speaking the microphone opens again by itself; tap the pill while it is answering to end the conversation. The recording now travels with the message in one round trip and the reply's spoken lines come back on the same stream, so the transcript appears about twice as fast and you hear the first words in about half the time. The Voice select is now a single button that cycles your assistant's voice, your device's voice, and off, so the composer no longer crowds the Send button on a phone.

Requires the DEF backend at or after 2026-09-07 (the recording rides the chat stream).
