Twitch logins work again, and new accounts can mine from the first minute.

馃悰 Fixed

  • New Twitch logins work again. Around September 18 Twitch stopped accepting device code sign in from the Android app client GrubDrops used, so adding or re-logging a Twitch account failed with "Device Error HTTP 400". New logins now go through the Twitch for TV client. Each account remembers which client signed it in and every request for it uses that same client, because Twitch accepts mismatched requests but credits no watch time for them. Accounts that are already logged in keep working exactly as before, so there is nothing to redo. (#48)
  • Accounts on the TV client find campaigns. Twitch hides the drops dashboard from that client, which is what broke other miners that tried it. GrubDrops instead looks at live drops enabled channels for each game on your whitelist, plus the campaigns already in your inventory. Campaigns whose game account you have not linked are skipped, the same as before.
  • Drops that need a subscription are no longer mined. Twitch can list watch minutes on a sub only drop, so the miner used to treat it as a watch drop. It now shows as action required. (#47)
  • A claim Twitch does not confirm is no longer marked claimed. An empty claim response used to count as a success, which left drops marked claimed on the dashboard while Twitch still showed them unclaimed. It now counts as a failed claim, and a finished drop that fails three times in a row is skipped instead of retried forever.
  • Login errors show Twitch's reason instead of a bare HTTP status.

鈿狅笍 Known limits

  • TV client accounts only see whitelisted games. A campaign that runs only on channels outside a game's top ten live drops channels can be missed until it appears in your inventory, and the Discoverable tab on /drops cannot list games you have not whitelisted.

猬嗭笍 Updating

docker compose pull && docker compose up -d. Keep your data volume. Existing Twitch accounts stay signed in; to add a new one or bring back an expired one, use the device code login on the account page.
