• Settings > More > Report a problem sends a problem report or suggestion to the SandFly developers. No GitHub account is needed. The form has Type of feedback, Area, Title, App where it happens, Description, Steps to reproduce, Email for replies, Include device information and Include SandFly log. The SandFly version and build are always sent. Reports go to a private issue tracker. Include SandFly log is off by default, because the log can contain text from the screen.
• Sound themes can give a sound and a vibration to navigation: selecting the next or previous reading control; the bottom, middle and top stages of an edge gesture; moving the cursor in a text field by character, word, line or paragraph; and a swipe that wraps from the end of a row of a grid or table to the start of the next row, or back. SandFly has no sounds of its own for these. Each has a sound switch and a vibration switch in Individual sounds and vibrations.
• SandFly's strings are translated into German, Afrikaans, Amharic, Arabic, Assamese, Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Bangla, Bosnian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Greek, English (United Kingdom, Australia and India), Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Estonian, Basque, Persian, Finnish, Filipino, French (France and Canada), Galician and Hindi. Other languages show SandFly's own strings in English.

Changes

• The gesture start and gesture end sounds and vibrations are removed, with their switches.
• Lifting the finger at the end of an edge gesture plays no sound or vibration.
• The Edge gestures vibration switch covers only sliding back, and is named Edge gesture slide back.

Fixes

• On Android 16 and later, the name a web page gives a container through aria-labelledby is read, as with posts on X. Moving to a post by landmark read only some of its parts, or text recognition read the screen.
• The keymap message keeps the quotes around "Enhanced keymap".
• The touch focus delay message shows on two lines.

Fixes

• Gboard no longer types or activates the last key under the finger when the finger slides off the keyboard, including Use voice typing. Gboard leaves typing to the screen reader only when its version code is at least 60105832, so SandFly's version code is now 100000000 plus the build number.
• Typing in Compose text fields no longer reads the typed word and "End of field" after each word.
• Typing no longer lags when the keyboard's spell checker doesn't answer, as with PixelBoard. The spelling suggestion hint is spoken when the spell checker answers.
• SandFly's braille keyboard types without delay in SandFly's own fields, such as the sound theme name, and deleting a word works there.
• Starting selection mode keeps a Characters, Words, Lines or Paragraphs reading control, and selects by that unit. Other reading controls still change to Characters.
• The find voice command finds text in web pages and WebViews.
