Highlights

The MCP server is the focus of this release. You can expose redmine as tools to Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and any MCP-compatible host, with sensible defaults and fine-grained control over what each agent can do.

• Safer HTTP transport. Serve over HTTP with a real auth gate (--auth-token, mcp.auth_token, or REDMINE_MCP_AUTH_TOKEN). A bare :port now binds to localhost only, and binding publicly without a token warns you on stderr.
• Pick the tools your agent sees. New --enable-groups / --disable-groups / --enable-tools / --disable-tools (plus matching env vars and a per-profile mcp: config block) let you scope an agent to read-only issues, hide destructive deletes, or anything in between. Run redmine mcp tools to see the full catalog.
• One-step install on Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Gemini CLI. Plugin manifests ship in the repo and the docs landing page has a new install picker.
• File-based prompt templates make MCP prompts easier to read and customize.

No breaking changes. Existing setups keep working with the same defaults.
